Gaudiani Linda M

Presentation and Q&A Session with Dr. Gaudiani

Dr. Gaudiani is the president of Marin Endocrine Care and Research, a specialty practice in Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism since 1985 and now part of the Marin HealthCare District. In addition to her endocrinology practice, she co-directs the Marin Endocrine Bone Density Services. In the research department at Marin Endocrine, she has acted as Principal Investigator in state-of-the-art endocrine pharmaceutical research trials over a period of three decades. She co-founded and is the Medical Director of the Braden Diabetes Center at MarinHealth Medical Center, as well as medically directing the Diabetes InPatient Care services at MarinHealth Medical Center. She is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF and has enjoyed her teacher/mentor role for medical students there, receiving the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award in 2008.

Dr. Biddle, a graduate of University of California and a San Rafael native, believes deeply in “whole person” care and strives to address all forms of suffering including physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. As a global health trainee he continues to be committed to delivering high quality palliative care in the developing world, and will continue to mentor palliative care fellows at UCSF. Finally, as a previous study physician on the UCSF Psilocybin for AIDS Survivors Study, he is interested in the use of psychedelic medicines, particularly psilocybin, to treat existential and psycho-spiritual distress in patients with serious illness.

Dr. Elisa Washburn is a graduate of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – California class of 2006. She is originally from Maine and did her first two years of training at UNECOM in Biddeford, Maine. She completed her Family Practice residency at Natividad Medical Center in 2009 and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Her interests include Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders, Cardiovascular Disease, Geriatrics, and Women’s Health.

Dr. Tanvir specializes in Family Medicine, and speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. She graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Arrowhead Regional Medical center.

Dr. Sandhu is a California native who beelieves that Primary Care is one of the most important aspects in medicine. Dr. Sandhu takes great pride in being on the front line and advocating for patient health and education while aiding in shared decision making. Dr. Sandhu graduated from Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital and completed his residency at Redmond Regional Medical Center, as well.
